A supremely soft cotton Boujaad, bright and muted happy colors and a uniquely beautiful broken triangle (or mountain) pattern. Jolene would make any room and would even be great as a wall hanging.
Part of our Muse Collection / Even though the lyrics are around the jealousy of another woman, the inspiration came from an innocent place. Dolly met a fan, a beautiful red-haired, green-eyed, 8-year-old girl waiting for an autograph, named Jolene. The origin of the song came from Dolly's life, her husband Carl was spending more and more time at the bank, a beautiful, red-haired, and about 6 feet tall with long legs, teller was flirting with him. Dolly "put a stop to that. I got rid of that redhead woman in a hurry." she said in a concert. Their love has withstood 5 decades, they are still married today. Dolly and Carl met in 1964, outside of a laundromat in Nashville, Dolly's first day in the city. "My first thought was I'm gonna marry that girl," Carl said. "My second thought was, 'Lord she’s good lookin.'" They married two years later.
