Or rather, Jessie's girl. Soft melon and brown Moroccan Beni on a colorful cotton foundation. Imperfectly perfect checker pattern. Great wear on this vintage piece. flashes of blue and pink appear in the overall design. Charming with a fun, multicolored fringe at one end.
Part of our Muse Collection / Had to include Jessie's Girl in the collection, even though she remains unnamed, because this is my jam. I even saw Rick in concert and it was the best night of my life. JK. But, this isn't about me. Jessie's Girl inspiration came when Rick was 27 and he met his friend Gary's girlfriend. He never talked to her or even knew her name, he just quietly loved her from afar and soon after he lost touch with Gary. Rick knew the experience would make a great song. “The riff came first...And although it’s a pretty simple-sounding song it wasn’t easy to write. It took about two months, working on the guitar and piano." You know I wish that I had Jessie's girl!
