Mellow and introspective yet good enough to be a lead single. Angie is a beautiful vintage tribal rug with a repeating medallion pattern, drawing the eye with its bright Persian blues, ecru, brown and the perfect soft red.  Lined by mountain and floral borders (the blue pulls from the blue medallions perfectly) and animals scattered throughout. This Shiraz rug is most likely from an outlying village and is likely Kurdish in origin. Deep rich colors, silky wool with thicker Kurdish weave, she's hard to get over. Angie, you're beautiful, yeah.

Part of our Muse Collection / The Stones have never fully cleared up the speculation around the song, written mostly by Richards while in rehab in Switzerland. The chords and progression were down and the song was loosely named after Richard's just born daughter, Dandelion Angela. However the verses point to the song being based on Jagger's breakup with muse Marianne Faithful. Other Rolling Stones songs inspired by Marianne include "Sympathy for the Devil", "You Can’t Always Get What You Want", "Wild Horses" and "She’s Like a Rainbow". She's kind of a big deal.
